Non Pro Trophy Champion Manuel Bonzano & Great Sun Burst

em-logo-blau_arha_klein.jpgThis Non Pro Trophy will surely be remembered by all those who watched it. 16 top class riders and horses competed in this class which turned out to be one of the most beautiful Non Pro Trophies since a long time. As the second rider, Tina Kunstner-Mantl (AUT) and her flashy stallion Heza Sure Whiz scored a 221 with a fine ride and + ½ points in practically every maneuvre. Claudio Risso (ITA) and his Spat A Blue presented a brilliant run which earned a 222.5. But in the end, the Trophy was claimed by Manuel Bonzano (ITA) and Great Sun Burst. Breathtaking spins (+1 ½ on the right spin) and stops earned top score 223.5.
So the first three places of this Trophy were earned by three of Europe’s most successful Non Pros. Last year, Manuel Bonzano won both the NRHA Breeders and the NRHA Austrian Futurity Non Pro, was Non Pro Champion at the 23 Classic and the CS Classic. His stallion Great Sunburst (Great Resolve x Docs Sun Burst) was two times NRHA World Champion Open and NRHA European Affiliate Champion Open with Bernard Fonck in the saddle. His Lifetime Earnings are over $ 292,000. Second place went to Claudio Risso and his Spat A Blue (Spat Olena x ARC Joy Surprise) were 2011 NRHA World Champion Non Pro and NRHA European Champion Non Pro. Also they are multiple Bronze Trophy Champions.

With this stallion, she was NRHA World Res. Champion Non Pro. His LTE are more than $ 70,000. Last year, the two were NRHA European Res. Champion Non Pro.Open Bronze Trophy claimed by Bernard Fonck & Sail On Top Whizard
The third day of the NRHA European Affiliate Championship ended with a great Open Bronze Trophy - it was simply unbelievable how many great horses there were. Just fancy: a 220.5 was necessary to place 7th.
The Open Bronze Trophy was claimed by Bernard Fonck aboard Sail On Top Whizard (Whizard Jac x Miss N Sis), a stallion owned by Danny and Mireille Cerrato. It was another step towards Bernard’s goal of becoming Europe’s second Million Dollar Rider. So far his LTE are more than $ 950,000. With Sail On Top Whizard Fonck was e.g. 2009 NRHA European Futurity Open Level 4, NRHA Open Champion at the 23 Classic and IRHA Derby Open Co-Champion 2011.
Reserve Champion was Gennaro Lendi (ITA), who scored a 225 with the 8-year-old Paint gelding RR Hi Ho Star (by RR Star) for Katarzyna Roleska. The horse was 2010 NRBC Non-Pro Finalist, 2010 Cactus Reining Derby Non-Pro 3rd and Intermediate Non-Pro Reserve Champion and 2009 High Roller Reining Classic Derby Open 9th. With Gennaro Lendi he was 23 Classic Open Res. Champion.
