Giovanni Masi & Nico Siguro vorn in L4, Jonas Bujnoch in L3, 2 und 1

57 Pferde waren in den vier Levels des Open Futurity Go rounds der Vierjährigen gemeldet. In der L4 rückten 18 Besten ins Finale vor, wofür mindestens ein Score von 212,5 zu erreiten war. Und die Top Ritte lagen eng beieinander. Die Führung übernahmen mit jeweils einer 217,5 Nico Sicuro auf Dance Wimpy Spook (Wimpys Little Step x Dance Little Spook) und Giovanni Masi de Vargas auf La La Boom (Remins Remedy X Boomax Rm).

Sicuro, der am Vortag schon zwei Pferde ins Dreijährigen Finale geritten hatte (davon eins auf Platz 2), war mit der Ausnahmestute Dance Wimpy Spook 2020 IRHA Futurity Champion L4 Open – mit einer 223! Die 2021er Saison läuft also gut für den 25-jährigen Italiener, der Cheftrainer bei Quarter Dream SRL ist. Unter anderem gewann er heuer auch das NRHA European Derby Open. Sicuro hat zudem mit Voodoo Majestic Gun noch ein zweites Pferd für Quarter Dream im Finale.

Der mehrfache FEI Goldmedaillengewinner und NRHA European Futurity Champion L2 Open Giovanni Masi de Vargas hatte 2020 mit dem Wallach La La Boom die LRHA-IRHA-FISE Pre Futurity Open gewonnen. Der 28-jährige Giovanni Masi, der auf Alba QH zuhause ist und trainiert, war vergangenes Jahr Austrian Reining Futurity Co-Champion L4 Open.

Auf Platz 3 folgten mit nur einem halben Zähler Abstand drei Reiter: Pierlugi Fabbri mit Vittorio Rabbonis Hengst Eli Tomac (Walla Walla Whiz x Ladie Bud), Pavel Orel mit seinem Hengst White Shade (Yankee Gun x Shyaning Electric) und Sylvia Rzepka mit Zsolt Méders Wimpy Walla Whiz (Wimpys Little Step x Memorable Walla Whiz).

FEI Weltmeister Gennaro Lendi schaffte es als einziger, drei Pferde in L4 Open Finale zu reiten, und dies mit Top Scores: Frozenfromhell (Inferno Sixty Six x Nic Sailor, 216), OT Dont Miss To Wish (Dont Miss My Guns x OT Taris Wish Miss, 215,5) und OT Taris Yankee (Yankee Gun x OT Tarisme, 215,5)

High Score 218,5 für Jonas Bujnoch & PL Not Trashy
In der L3 Open kamen die besten 20 Pferde ins Finale. High Score erzielte Jonas Bujnoch auf Petr Julinas PL Not Trashy (Gunnatrashya x Nu Chex Donna): 218,5. Die Stute aus der Zucht von Luigi Parise führt damit sowohl in L3 als auch L2 und L1. Bujnoch war mit der Stute 2020 Austrian Futurity Finalist und IRHA Futurity Reserve Champion L1. Den zweiten Platz teilten sich Pierlugi Fabbri mit Eli Tomac, Pavel Orel mit White Shade und Sylvia Rzepka mit Wimpy Walla Whiz. Fünfter wurde mit einer 215,5 Quentin Galliere auf Linda Verstappens LVR Hero Of Magic (Inferno Sixty Six x Juana Sparkle).

Damit standen auch die Finalisten in der L2 und L1 fest. Zweiter in L2 wurde Pavel Orel mit White Shade vor Quentin Galliere und LVR Hero Of Magic. Auf Platz 4 mit einer 213,5: Dino Lulli auf Frozen Jessie Oak (Frozen Sailor x Jessie Oak Tari) für Angelucci Quarter Horses. Das bedeutete für Dino Lulli gleichzeitig Platz 2 in der L1.

Dritter in der L1 wurde der Spanier June Alustiza Martinez De Rituerto auf Elisabetta Zoccaratos Call Me Mr Ghostface (by Paceface Dun It), der eine 212 scorte. Auf Platz 4 folgte mit einer 211,5 Gabriela Wendlinger auf Jürgen Niederls Duninachictinseltown (Hollywoodstinseltown x Chic Olena Shine).

Im L2 Finale werden die Top 26, im L1 Finale die Top 14 wieder aufeinander treffen.

 

Open Futurity Go Round 4-year-old Horses:

Giovanni Masi & Nico Siguro take lead in L4, Jonas Bujnoch in L3, 2 and 1

57 horses were entered in the four levels of the Open Futurity Go rounds for four-year-old horses. In the L4, the top 18 horses advanced to the final, for which a score of at least 212.5 had to be achieved. And the top rides were very close together. Nico Sicuro aboard Dance Wimpy Spook (Wimpys Little Step x Dance Little Spook) and Giovanni Masi de Vargas aboard La La Boom (Remins Remedy X Boomax Rm) took the lead scoring a 217.5 each.

Sicuro, who had already ridden two horses into the Three-Year-Old Finals the day before (one of which finished second), was the 2020 IRHA Futurity Champion L4 Open with the exceptional mare Dance Wimpy Spook – the score: 223! Altogether, the 2021 season is going well for the 25-year-old Italian, who is head trainer at Quarter Dream SRL. Among other things, he won the NRHA European Derby Open this year. Sicuro also has a second horse in the finals for Quarter Dream in Voodoo Majestic Gun.

Multiple FEI Gold Medalist and NRHA European Futurity Champion L2 Open Giovanni Masi de Vargas had won the LRHA-IRHA-FISE Pre Futurity Open in 2020 with the gelding La La Boom. 28-year-old Giovanni Masi, who is at home and trains on Alba QH, was Austrian Reining Futurity Co-Champion L4 Open last year.

In L3 Open the best 20 horses made it to the final. High score was achieved by Jonas Bujnoch aboard Petr Julina’s PL Not Trashy (Gunnatrashya x Nu Chex Donna): 218.5. The mare bred by Luigi Parise thus leads in L3 as well as L2 and L1. Bujnoch was a 2020 Austrian Futurity finalist and IRHA Futurity Reserve Champion L1 with this mare. Second place was shared by Pierlugi Fabbri with Eli Tomac, Pavel Orel with White Shade and Sylvia Rzepka with Wimpy Walla Whiz. Fifth was Quentin Galliere on Linda Verstappen’s LVR Hero Of Magic (Inferno Sixty Six x Juana Sparkle) who scored a 215.5.

With this, the finalists in L2 and L1 were also determined. Second in L2 was Pavel Orel with White Shade ahead of Quentin Galliere and LVR Hero Of Magic. In 4th place with a 213.5: Dino Lulli aboard Frozen Jessie Oak (Frozen Sailor x Jessie Oak Tari) for Angelucci Quarter Horses. This also meant 2nd place in L1 for Dino Lulli.

Third in L1 was Spain’s June Alustiza Martinez De Rituerto aboard Elisabetta Zoccarato’s Call Me Mr Ghostface (by Paceface Dun It), who scored a 212. Gabriela Wendlinger followed in fourth place with a 211.5 on Jürgen Niederl’s Duninachictinseltown (Hollywoodstinseltown x Chic Olena Shine).

The Top 26 will meet again in the L2 Final, and the Top 14 in the L1 Final.
